Le premier poulain Eickenrode de 2021 est arrivé! Nous sommes très heureux d'annoncer la naissance d'une pouliche de Zirocco Blue VDL issue de notre jument Annastasia (Silverstone x Chellano Z x Larthago v.Carthago). C'est la lignée directe de plusieurs chevaux de haut niveau tels que Harley VDL et Casago.

Sous la conduite de Rob Heijligers, Knegt's Icelos Eickenrode s'est qualifié pour les Longines FEI / WBFSH Championnats du monde de jeunes chevaux à Lanaken. Le Dakar VDL-fils a fait forte impression lors de ces championnats nationaux. Une faute dans le barrage à la finale a empêché les deux joueurs de se classer plus haut, mais une 7e position et un ticket pour les championnats du monde à Lanaken constituent un résultat final formidable.
Icelos a été élevé à Eline H (Indoctro x Corrado I) et vendu comme poulain par le biais de la vente aux enchères Dutch Top Foals à la famille Van Eerd ou Stal Knegt. Mercredi 4 septembre, un autre produit sera mis aux enchères: Octavus Eickenrode (Harley VDL et Boracific VDL sport elite pref prest par Indorado). Son demi-frère Icarius Eickenrode (Zirocco Blue VDL) était également en finale et était très proche d'un billet pour Lanaken.
Le dernier contrôle a eu lieu et cinq grossesses sont confirmées. Si tout va bien, nous nous attendons ces combinaisons:

Wednesday September 6th, Magnifico Eickenrode (s.Harley VDL) will be auctioned in the Dutch Top Foals auction in Lunteren, the Netherlands.

Magnifico Eickenrode impressed with his elasticity at the foal inspections of Terschuur where was crowned Champion and selected for the National Foal Championships. Dam Boracific was crowned vice-champion of the Central Inspection in Friesland and selected for the national mare championship with 80 points for conformation and 85 for free jumping, including 90 for reflexes. Besides that, she showed her quality on 1.30m level. By now, her first offspring are succesful in the international show ring in Youngster Tours, amongst them the full brother to Magnifico, Eickenrode’s Gladius with Henri Stegeman on 1.30m level. This lineage full of sport and breeding quality goes back on the legendary Ladykiller xx-mare Shoraya. Shoraya is dam of the Grand Prix stallion N.Aldato (s.Nimmerdor) of Emile Hendrix and is granddam of top horses like the Olympic stallion Bubalu VDL (s.Baloubet du Rouet), Pessoa VDL (s.Animo) and Edminton VDL (s.Emilion). This colt is sired by the international sports and breeding stallion Harley VDL, reknown for outstanding progeny like Charly Chaplin S, Constable II, Barista SFN, Arlando and world champion Earley.

Eickenrode's Gladius est un a ster PROK hongre born né en 2011. Son pedigree est Harley VDL x Boracific VDL elite sport-spr 1.30m (s.Indorado x Indoctro x Ladykiller xx). C'est la lignée maternelle de Shoraya, ligné 474a. C'est pour la deuxième fois dans 1.30m niveau et chaque fois sans fautes.

Wij proberen met behulp van kwaliteitsvolle merries uit sterke moederlijnen, qua sportprestaties en exterieur en door gebruik te maken van de juiste hengsten, een bovengemiddeld springpaard te fokken. Hierbij vinden wij naast de potentie voor de hogere springsport ook het behoud van een goed exterieur, een goed karakter en de rijdbaarheid zeer belangrijk. Het fokken en opfokken van veulens is een hobby waar wij als familie veel plezier aan beleven .
Ieder jaar verkopen wij veulens met interessante bloedlijnen en fokken daarnaast soms enkele veulens op om later als toekomstig sportpaard te verkopen.
Wij wonen in de Gelderse Vallei in Kootwijkerbroek gelegen tussen Amersfoort en Apeldoorn nabij Voorthuizen en Barneveld op een kwartier rijden van het KWPN en KNHS centrum te Ermelo.
